    Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State

    From WalterFootball.com:
    Russell Okung, Oklahoma State
    Height: 6-5. Weight: 300.
    Projected 40 Time: 5.22.
Projected Round (2010): Top 5 Pick.

1/6/09: Russell Okung, Oklahoma State's starting right tackle, qualified for the All-Big XII First Team. I couldn't blame him if he declared early, but he could be a first-round prospect if he wats another year. There's even a chance he gets drafted toward the end of the opening round this April.

7/27/08: Played extremely well for the Cowboys as a sophomore. Russell Okung should be able to play multiple positions at the next level, as he also works out at guard.

    My Take:

7/16- Watching Ok St. vs. Oregon. Okung has very very quick feet and appears nimble for a man of that size. Flattened the DE on a Robinson to Dez Bryant TD pass. Locks on and more often than not, its over. Good push in the run game. Starting at LT in this game. Can get caught too high and get pushed back a bit.

8/11/09- Replay of Texas game 08/09- Very good feet, athletic. Does a good job of walling off the left side... slides well with the outside rush.

11/19/09- vs. Color- Unreal ability to pull and run block at the next level (10:31). Flat out owned his block and dominated the DE. His mobility at that size is off the charts. He looks a bit thin but with his frame could easily become a muscular beast.
