It's Official: Favre Considering NFL Return

NEW YORK (AP) - Veteran quarterback Brett Favre says he is considering coming out of retirement for a second time and the only team he has talked to about a return to the NFL is the Minnesota Vikings.

Favre appeared on the new HBO show "Joe Buck Live" on Monday in his first public appearance since retiring from the New York Jets in February.

The three-time NFL most valuable player said he had surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago on his throwing arm. He says the doctor who performed the surgery on his biceps told him it would take four to five weeks for the NFL's career leader in touchdown passes to know if the procedure was a success.

Favre says he has had contact with the Vikings, but "nothing more than are you interested."

Come on guys... You have to respect the fact he doesn't give a s*** what we think. He knows it's best to hang it up but i honestly think he enjoys playing the game and everyone is swinging from his nuts. When the day comes no one calls during the off season he will hang it up. Everybody thinks hes going to pull one off each season so he feels wanted and needed. The day no one wants Bret he is done. Soon he will be there each Sunday regardless but in the commentator booth with Chris Collins. Who knows one day he might actully be a commentator in Madden 20??....
