    2/14/09: Qualified for the All-WAC First Team, thanks to 65 tackles, eight TFL, five sacks and three passes broken up.

    8/1/08: D'Anthony Smith started 11 games as a sophomore. He had 6.5 tackles for loss and three sacks. As a freshman, he was in the opening lineup eight times.

    Comments:
    12/05- vs. San Jose- Very good size, good physical build. Quick. Decent strength. Gets double teamed a lot but still manages to blow up runs and get pressure. Gets a sack on Reed. Hes a big mauler, with good strength who will keep at it and get his fair share of plays made.
