George Selvie, DE, South Florida
From WalterFootball.com:
George Selvie, South Florida
Height: 6-4. Weight: 250.
Projected 40 Time: 4.68.
Projected Round (2010): 3-4.
5/18/09: A 3-4 rush linebacker, George Selvie has slipped into the second round of my 2010 NFL Mock Draft because he had just 5.5 sacks in 2008.
1/8/09: George Selvie announced that he'll be returning for his senior season.
11/16/08: Facing countless double teams this year, it's amazing George Selvie has been able to put up 11 TFL and five sacks through eight contests.
5/7/08: George Selvie made huge strides as a sophomore, notching 14.5 sacks for the South Florida Bulls. Selvie needs to put on a bit more bulk, but he's probably a top-10 pick regardless, barring a horrendous junior campaign.
Comments:
10/17/09- Replay of Cinnci- Watched a lot of him last year. hes teh same version. hes a classic speed rusher who relies on quickness to get around the line and get to the QB. Hes probably too tall and long armed to play OLB in a 3-4. He will get sacks, and make some tackles. What he wont do is be a bull rusher or a DE who can get through or even around many double teams. In this style of DE, Dunlap is better maybe even Norwood.
