    Dexter Davis, DE, Arizona State

    From WalterFootball.com:
    Dexter Davis, Arizona State
    Height: 6-2. Weight: 252.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.74.
    Projected Round (2010): 4-5.

2/12/09: A rush linebacker in the 3-4, Dexter Davis was an All-Pac 10 honorable mention, thanks to 40 tackles, 15 TFL and 11 sacks.

8/2/08: Dexter Davis was extremely productive in his sophomore campaign, notching 10.5 sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss. As a freshman, Davis started every game and recorded six sacks.

    Comments:
09/25/09- vs Georgia- Quick, solid build not lanky. Short upper body. Can get blown back when blocked high.

10/17/09- vs. Wash- Nice pass tip. Seems to be a real playmaker.

11/20/09- vs. UCLA- Quick and nasty defender who gives you his all on every play. hes lean so he may get muscled around from time to time. But he can knife through blocks for sacks and tackles. Hes certainly strong enough to be a decent DE but hes really more of a finesse rusher than a bull rusher. His speed may make him a real option as a 3-4 OLB. Very similar build and style to Maybin. I think his attitude and desire to play the game move him up the boards. May top out around the 2nd round.
