It'll be awesome if Green Bay sweeps Minnesota and Favre doesn't get his revenge.

By redneck jersey, do you mean a customized, camoflouge colored jersey?

How is it the NFL event of all time?

          It's a week 4 game.

And on top of that, Favre returning to Green Bay is a much bigger game than tonight.

For the love of god, sack Favre 15x and Aaron Rodgers be a super hero.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
            It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I used to love Favre until he pulled all that **** last year. I'm done with him and would love nothing more than to see him eat dirt. I want to see the Packers slam him to the turf after every single play. Make him hurt! And I also want Rodgers to tear it up!

He swore to his fans that he retired for good, for the last time, then he changed his mind again. So what? The guy loves the game and wants to keep playing. He's proving that he's still good enough to start, and that's why he was pissed that they wanted to demote him so Aaron could be the starter. It's perfectly understandable.

Hope you had fun, honey. Check your email!
I didn't come here to fight, I hate fighting. Life is way too short to spend it on fighting! Go fight with yourself, one of you will eventually win!

He held a franchise hostage for years on end then he retired.

                      Favre is a ****ing joke.

They did NOT want to demote him. HE RETIRED. They didn't force him into retirement. He is an adult, not a child. If he didn't want to retire, he didn't have to. I cannot believe how many people actually think Green Bay forced him into anything or "demoted" him.

Green Bay didn't force him into retirement but they did trade him and at one point when he was retired they were going to pay him to stay retired...

Go ahead, explain your reasoning. Because right now I'm chalking this up to you just simply disagreeing with me, which is all you ever do.

Right. He retired, GB moved on and prepared Aaron Rodgers for the starting role. At which point Favre started his comeback nonsense and the Packers simply said no because they had prepared for Rodgers and it was wrong on about 1000 different levels to bring Favre back. Eventually they traded him because he wouldn't go away. He was literally showing up at training camp and bringing a media circus with him until GB finally had to give him what he wanted.

Lost in all this is how Aaron Rodgers has been completely dumped on. I feel really bad for him.
