He is all over the field! 10 Tackles and a pick. He ripped a guys head off just before by the goaline. I sure miss Winfield

He certainly looks good tonight
I feel so bad for Rodgers, I rooted for Favre when he was with the Packers, I think Rodgers just got himself a new fan. He played with so much emotion, you could see it in his eye's he wanted that win bad, he played a great game. I wish we had a leader like that in Buffalo, Rodgers is a very, very good player. Packers are my NFC team now, officially. Obviously Buffalo will always be number 1 though.

Mine is Vikings
Aaron holds onto the ball way too long. It leads to extra sacks. His 2 Turnovers were huge and were the difference.Originally Posted by PECKERWOOD

Letting Winfield go was a mistake.

I didn't come here to fight, I hate fighting. Life is way too short to spend it on fighting! Go fight with yourself, one of you will eventually win!
He did look good. Great run stopper. I would have kept Pat Williams first over Winfield though. Letting Fat Pat go was a HUGE mistake.

For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
He was a pro bowl corner last year. And is playing even better this year. INT's are overrated when you are a dominant CB less QB's throw your way.Originally Posted by mybills
Nnamdi Asomugha is prob the best cb in nfl and has 10 INTs in 96 games. The great Charles Woodson only has 11 more INTs than Winfield and has had a longer career. Winfield has been awesome. He has been an impact cb
he might be the greatest tackling CB to ever play the game.

If memory serves me correct we did not even offer to Winfield prior to him going FA status. We have plenty of time to offer to guys on our team before other teams can outbid us. Hence why I say we let him go. If they wanted to sign him enough they could have.Originally Posted by Ebenezer

That's not to say he for sure wanted to stay, but thats a big leap to take without any kind of tangible evidence.
That's when you know you have a great player....He gets his huge payday, and still plays like every year is a contract year. I really do miss him.

Just making an observation of his 10 year career..14 of those interceptions were for the Vikings. Money is a good motivator.Originally Posted by StuffEmDefense

Another good player we didn't want to "overpay."
He has never been a big interception guy. He provides good coverage and big hits.Originally Posted by mybills
