La te da
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
Apparently Glazer and Schefter have confirmed it.
From rotoworld.comFirst-round draft pick Michael Crabtree has agreed to terms with the 49ers on a six-year deal.
The deal has been reported by Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com and Adam Schefter of ESPN, and according to Glazer, it voids to five years if Crabtree has great years in two of his first four seasons. If Crabtree fails to reach the production trigger, the sixth year pays him only $4 million. After three months and threats of a full-year holdout and re-entry into the draft, this is good news for both the 49ers and Crabtree.

Crabtree has finnally signed his contract...poor sap couldnt stay broke for long...cheers to the Sanfran
The enemy deserves no mercy....mercy is for the weak.
Adding him to a dangerous SF team already does nothing but good things for the 49ers. Don't expect him to do much this season but this is very good news if your a SF fan.
COMING SOON...

Whoop dee doo. He's already overpaid and hasn't played a down yet. The NFL really needs to instate a minimum rookie cap.

49ers get their top pick who will only help the team in the future (ideally). And Crabtree goes to a winning organization.
I wonder who blinked first though, I bet Crabs.
