    Great? Seriously? Great?

Just watch the tape of Jones long runs and tell me where Ellison was... Ill help... locked up in a block and doing nothing.

I have also seen him get wiffed by Fred Taylor among others.

Our LB'ers should be guys that slide and mirror, throw there blockers aside and/or fly into the hole to blow up runs.

He made one nice stop like that yesterday.

No, the DL has done a decent job vs. the run this year but if the RB gets by the DL, he has a great chance at big yards because our second wave isnt good enough.

Poz is back and I think our corp will be better because of it, but Ellison isnt great at anything and is quite often pretty average or even bad.

Heres the video, its pretty fuzzy:

    Go to 1:32.

You can see the upper LB'er slide to far to the right, get locked in a block, turn away from the ball carrier and effectively be taken out of the play.

Shed the blocks. Palmer also misses the tackle, but at least he stayed off blocks and was in a position to do something.

    Then go to 1:43

Take a look at who it is that goes in the direction of the play, immediately gets into a block, and then just stays blocked... Jones ran right by him.

Shed the block and make the play or at least slow him down.

In both cases, he runs in the right direction of the play, run right up and grabs the blocker, and then just stays with the blocker. You cant make many plays like that. Stay off blocks or shed them, and play contain or get up into the hole.

Watch Brandon Spikes in this clip:

Florida's MLB #51 Pops Georgia's RB #24 Knowshon Moreno on the opening play of the Rivalry Game (Gators Killed, HAHA Bulldog fans)!

Thats what you want to see. Blows right by the blocker for the tackle in the hole.

Im not going to argue the Ellison point because its been argued enough already, but your Spikes clip doesnt show what you say it does. Spikes never beats a block, he fills the hole but nobody is there to pick him up blocker wise. Its just a good play by a LB but any LB can do that.
