All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Parrish has become a liability. He could never play WR, and now he has become counter productive as a punt returner.
Good riddance.
He does suck. I heard a stat that in the last 2 seasons he leads the league in fair catches on punts. This season he cost us 3 points late in the first half in a tie game vs. the Saints and then vs. the Browns he cost us the game and on that punt return (i think 3rd quarter) he lost us like 20 yards. The guy is a joke. We really got to fool a team to pick him up on trade. I doubt anyone trades for him, and when nobody does, i hope we just cut him.
While there have undoubtedly been times when Parrish has been 'electric', the last couple of seasons haven't been so. As previously stated, he simply is unable to do anything other than return kicks/punts for the Bills, and he hasn't been doing that all that well.
Should he go somewhere else and be productive as a WR, then the fault will have been with the Bills Offensive coordinators. As things stand, we have other guys, namely Hardy and Johnson, who are much more use to the Bills , certainly in the future, and in Johnson's case, likely also the now.
Good riddance! I will miss the Roscoe Parrish of old, but it was so obvious that he didnt want to be here anymore and I won't miss all the times he get tossed like a rag doll as a WR and the many times he just watches the punt go by him lately...
