    RB's Charles Scott and Shaun Draughn Done for Season

    LSU running back Charles Scott suffered a broken collarbone and is done for the regular season.


    LSU running back Charles Scott broke his collarbone against Alabama on Saturday and is lost for the remainder of the regular season, the school announced on Sunday night.

    Scott, a senior, might be able to return for a bowl game.

    He rushed for 83 yards on 13 carries, but the Tigers (No. 8 BCS, No. 9 AP) lost to the Crimson Tide (No. 2 BCS, No. 3 AP).
    North Carolina starting tailback Shaun Draughn, the team's leading rusher, will miss the rest of the season with a fractured left shoulder blade (scapula) he suffered on the first play from scrimmage in Carolina's 19-6 win over Duke on Saturday.

    Draughn started all nine games this season and was leading the Tar Heels with 567 yards on 124 carries. He ranks seventh in the league with 63.0 yards per game.
