He was one of the few players I saw out there that looked like he actually gave a ****. He hustled his ass off every play he was in there

BTW for those of you say he has one move your wrong he's just doing what he told to do. 90% of the time are DE's are told to take an outside speed rush to the QB. Dont believe me watch them every play. Its a one gap defense its what there supposed to be doing

That was a great hit that Michael Johnson, the best "project" player in the draft", put on Big Ben to end the Cincy/Steelers game. Michael Johnson was selected in the third round.
Nothing against Maybin. He didn't pick himself at # 11.

So i guess Schobel and Kelsay are told to run 5 yards past the QB. And if Maybin is told to not make any plays then its def. time to get another coaching staff. The way they talk about him the coaching staff has one of the "21" casino cards that tell you how to play.

He can only go in on obvious passing situations, but only if there isnt a chance of a draw, but if they are in the opposing teams territory and they have three recievers on the field and they are going into the sun... Bottom line, he cant get on the field because he is a worse pick then Heyward Bay and this team has no use for a player picked with the 11th pick. 11TH PICK DAMNITT.

We are playing with practice squad players while our first is sitting on the bench in witness protection. At least put him in there to throw a pass, everyone else beside Edwards is.
Buy land in AK now. In ten years due to global warming, it will be the new tropical paradise, minus the tropics

The team is weak on talent so we draft a project. Oher, as someone else point out, was sitting there, but we took the one year wonder and paid him 25 million dollars.

Read again. we paid him 25 million dollars to do nothing. Nothing. We paid Parrish 10 million dollars to do nothing.

We couldn't pay Peters beacuase he was a lazy selfish bastard...but he seems to be playing well in Philly so is it him or the same loser FO that has two guys at 35 million sitting on the bench?

Go ahead and tell me I'm making that assertion too quickly.

He sucks. He's too small. He has ZERO pass rush moves. He's not quicker than OTs. He can't play LB because he's too slow and has no coverage skills.

Waste of a first round pick.

Guys like Maybin are the reason this organization is a flat out train wreck and will never win anything.

You're making the assertion to quickly. You will probably be right though. I've seen no flashes to make me think maybe he's just a struggling rookie.

                  About as well as Hardy.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
