Because I swear it just happened.
My friend's son weighed himself before dinner yesterday. Said he has to go to another thanksgiving dinner today, and will weigh in on Saturday. I'll let ya know, but I'd say yes. He had 2 huge helpings and heaps of desserts. lol.
I didn't come here to fight, I hate fighting. Life is way too short to spend it on fighting! Go fight with yourself, one of you will eventually win!
I'd hate to be your plumber when that laxative kicks in.
No laxative needed. And it managed to flush and everything!! Although I am sure there are about 3 more where that big guy came from, lol.Originally Posted by Night Train
it is amazing how much weight can vary throughout a day....trust me, I weigh myself at least 6 times a day. But 9.7 pounds is huge. Not sure about that much...wow
6 time a day? Why?
I have been trying to lose weight and I became interested in how weight fluctuates throughout a day and it became habitOriginally Posted by dolphan117
it's possible to put on some decent weight especially if the fluid intake was high...but 10 pounds?? that's quite the crap when it all gets processedOriginally Posted by LtFinFan66
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.
Holy crap man!
I've lost near 10 lbs in a day before, but that was mostly water weight. So, I'm sure you could potentially put on 5-7lbs in a day, but I bet most of it's liquid and you'll end up losing most of it.
No, it's not possible. Unless you were dehydrated the day before. You'd need to consume 35,000 calories to gain 10 pounds.
That's not true, water has zero calories.Originally Posted by malo
I doubt it, but Boxers and wrestlers have been known to put on or lose up to 7 pounds in a day before a fight.
retaining water does increase your weight...Originally Posted by PECKERWOOD

Its possible for an NFL player to lose several pounds over the course of a game if its very hot.
The answer is no.
I remember reading back in the 80's that Springsteen would lose 3-5 pounds per show.
