All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.

i think you missed the slight sarcasm in my post (notice the "sadly" part?). im not saying this as a compliment to Fitzy in any way, more as a slight to trent.
Fitz is nothing more than a journeyman backup . No one needs to show us the light. We get it.
What he is right now is a FAR better option than Edwards at QB on our current "shortage of talent" roster. A 31 yard TD run and completing some big passes makes me want to keep him around as the primary backup in 2010, due to his constant ballsy play which seems to exceed his obvious limited skills. Playing big today against Miami always helps the resume.
I like those long passes of his because he thows it higher,allowing Owens & Evans to get seperation and have it drop almost straight down into their hands.
I also want Brohm to get a few snaps before the season concludes and expect another QB in the first 3 rounds of the draft.
I don't want Edwards around at all after this season.
Fitz is a more exciting version of Kelly Holcomb. Fitz takes risks, but rides the defense to victory. He is not a long term solution, but is better than trent. Which isnt saying much.

His arm is far more potent than Holcomb's and even Trent's.

While I do agree that Fitzel is nothing more than average, what if Edwards had the last 2 games that Fitzen had? 250+ yards, good QB rating...
Just sayin, Fitzoid isn't bad and I'm glad he's on this team. Not saying I wouldn't rather have about 15 other backup QBs in this league, just that Fitzit is playing up to my expectations.
