All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

The NFL on Tuesday released the leading Pro Bowl candidates by position in each conference, but where do various AFC East players rank? With a week of fan voting left, let's take a look at where AFC East players rank within the conference.
If Byrd does get selected, i wonder if he will still go due to his groin, which has been bothering him recently.
Probably. He's young, and pro bowls are where the all-stars play. If he was a vet, and he has been there, done that, he'd most likely sit. I'd go for sure lol. It's going to be weird this year that the pro bowl is going to be played before the Superbowl.
At this time, Brian Moorman isn't in the AFC's top five? Shows the voting is a joke.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
At this time, Brian Moorman isn't in the AFC's top five? Shows the voting is a joke.
People vote for the Pro Bowl to vote for players on their favorite team. When the player on their team at a given position doesn't deserve it, they vote for
a) the guy who they've heard of
b) the guy with the best numbers.
Since few people know punters outside of their team, they vote for the guy with the best average. The guy in Oakland always edges out Moorman in this regard because he gets to kick in OAKLAND instead of in Buffalo, New England, the Meadowlands, etc.
If it was solely up to players, coaches and media, Moorman would be a lock every year. The guy hit a 73 yard punt last week. 73 YARDS. WTF else does he have to do? He's getting voted out by a bunch of fat loser NFL fans who can't even run 73 yards.
1. Byrd should get in. We should vote him in. Something like that, IDK, if I made the pro bowl my rookie year, it'd inspire me to work harder than ever before. I'd know I had the talent, just need the effort.
2. Moorman is the best punter in the NFL, by far. If we weren't a jaded fanbase we'd probably vote him in every year. God forbid we won a game on primetime television.
