Nobody has ever questioned his toughness. People have questioned his selfishness, ego, and bad playoff games. Regardless a HOF gamer with passion. One of the all time greats regardless of his annoying behavior late in career.
i have had both ankles and a hammy that looked like that or worse...but never at the same time....and they both hurt like a *****
Seems like the people who never liked him are the only ones annoyed about it.Originally Posted by BuffaloBlitz83

Yeah, he's tough. He's also an *******. And selfish. And throws a TON of killer interceptions.
If he was hurt that bad, so bad that he couldn't run and slide 5 yards forward, he shouldn't have been in the game.
Tougher than a Waffle House steak
Where's the close-up of his vagina?
Find me a guy on this board who wouldn't go play a football game for 250,000 with injuries like that.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

I'd say it's more stupidity to stay in the game with injuries like that than "toughness."
