    Travis Lewis, Oklahoma
    Height: 6-2. Weight: 232.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.48.
    Projected Round (2011):

    Career Stats:

YEARTOT SOLO AST SACK STF STFY FF BK INT YDS AVG LNG TD PD
    2008 135 68 67 3 0 0 1 0 4 108 27.0 47 0 0
    2009 99 51 48 1 0 0 1 0 1 5 5.0 5 0 0

    2009 Comments:

07/18/09- Watching Ok vs. Missou. Cat quick with big time speed. Can handle getting knocked around.

10/16/09- vs. Ok- High motor guy who plays with his hair on fire. Ball hawk. Tough type of player. Very active player who makes his presence known with his playmaking ability. Nice pass rush ability.

    Comments:

    9/13/2010- vs. Fla St.

    1st Qtr:

9:20- Diagnosed the run right away but was taken out at the line.
7:24- Had primary responsibility on the TE and let him slip past for the 1st.
5:25- Horrible job diagnosing on this play, went to the wrong gap and the RB scored.

    2nd Qtr:

2:05- Nice diagnosis of the WR screen but was blocked out of it.

    3rd Qtr:
    10:09- Nice sideline tackle.
9:34- beautiful pick. He's got great quickness and an ability to cover well.
8:38- Gets off the cut block and flys up to help with the tackle on the RB.

    4th Qtr:
14:20- Drills the RB on the reception.
13:18- Closes on the RB quickly but misses the tackle.

Travis Lewis is a very quick LB with a good head on his shoulders. He's able to diagnose most plays and can close in a hurry. He also does a good job in coverage. Hes light in the upper body and may need to add bulk. Lewis may be a good fit for a 4-3 team.

    10/23/2010- vs. Mizzou

    1st Qtr:
9:40- Not tentative, will come right up and get to the play.

    4th Qtr:
    5:18- Always around the ball.
3:50- Nasty, gutty player who is always around the ball. Nice tackle.

Travis Lewis was again one of the more notable players on Oklahoma's defense. He seems to be everywhere. He has very good instincts and diagnoses the plays quickly and his above average speed lets him close fast.
