    I had to vote Thurm.

Coach Sal might be the most knowledgeable poster, but he isn't the MVP.

He isn't even here half the time. If Thurm showed up to post twice a week, people would notice.

    Plus he isn't more knowledgable.

In all honestly, I can't vote for Thurm because the guy NEVER thanks anyone and rarely reps anyone for anything. It's like he think's he is above me... (no friggin way!)

Oh, and as much as I enjoy reading his posts, he never really offers anything to the BZ worthy of an MVP award.

I am not above any Zoner, in any way. I don't thank people because I don't have good manners.

This is the radio show thing again.... I should put together a video pod cast. What equipment do I need to set this up?

Is it too late for me to nominate myself?

Re: Vote: MBB Award (Male Zone MVP)

what a terrible idea it was to not let people win twice.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Re: Vote: MBB Award (Male Zone MVP)

I really think for the most part, this list sucks ass. Some are really good posters, but not worthy of a fake MVP award. Coach Sal and Pat Moran post on the main forum and barely anywhere else. I also like Thurm but his posts lack substance. Billswin and Tlong are two more good posters that don't venture out of the main forum too, as as much as this is a Bill's message board, it has a TON more to offer. The top two on that list should be Dr.Lecter and Opiv, at least they add something to a conversation.

I think the awards maybe should be like the olympics, only given out every 4 years or so.

pat moran, dr lecther, coach sal and draftboy are in different leagues than the resest. They are in different leagues than each other too but each one is good to go in this competition.

Damn, sorry man. I had it all planned out and completely forgot to say: And draftboy wasn't even HERE for part of the year. How you vote a guy zone MVP after he leaves and defriends everybody is beyond me!

    We cool now?

Mostly tongue in cheek Shelby. I think the awards this year has been a bit underwhelming, except for most overrated zoner.
