Sabres D is playing tigher- only 2 real scoring chances given up in the first 10 minutes.
The offense still looks out of sync though. Too many neutral zone turnovers, no real sustained pressure.
great steal and move by Pominville- too bad he still can't finish the job.
and Roy misses another golden opportunity. So far, Roy, Pominville and Vanek have all missed great chances. This game should be at least 2-9 by now.
Be nice to take advantage of this power play at the start of the second.

Feels good to win again. Ottawa is losing right now so Buffalo might take first place back over. Sens play tomorrow but even if they win and take first back, the Sabres will have 3 games in hand on them once they return from the break.
