    Comments:

3/11/20- vs. Hawaii (replay)- Good build. Quick runner who blows up into the holes and tries to get the most out of his runs. Doesn't have elite speed. Shows inconsistent vision, sometimes can find the holes before they happen and get yardage. Other times will run into defenders instead of around them. Not always great at breaking tackles. (2nd 10:10). Nice run up the middle, able to bounce around in the lane and get extra yards. This run showed some limitation in vision and ability to bounce to the outside (2nd). I think hes a guy who can be a workhorse back but not a homerun hitter per say. Hes going to get yars and will be attractive to a team that wants to run the ball and burn clock. But if your looking for a single back, who plays all 3 downs and is a threat to run the distance at any point, Mathews may fall a bit short.
