Think of it like this...LT comes, Thomas Jones goes, is it still a loss??

I think LT could have some success in NY. That being said it's Greene and Washington i'm more concerened about.

If true, they basically replaced 31 year old Thomas Jones with 30 year old LT.

Unless the Jets think LT complements Shonn Green better than TJ in terms of what they want to do going forward, I don't think it's a significant upgrade.

Of course it hurts us. Free agency is like chess, and you are playing against the other AFC East teams. They are moving their pieces across the board while we are stuck in position one. It doesn't matter who they add the point is, they are adding people and we aren't adding anyone.

To be honest, I don't mind it. We are rebuilding right for once. I will wait until after the draft to freak out.

5 or 6 years ago yes it would have hurt, today, not so much.

i think LT behind that OL will spell disaster for the Bills and make them more dangerous on offense. he's not the old LT physically but he's not done as a football player just yet.

I think the loss of Thomas Jones is much worse for them than the signing of LT is a positive.

why? because he 1400 yards and 14 TD's last year? Omon could be a 1000 yard rusher behind that line.

It doesn't seem to make much sense to me. Thomas Jones has looked better than LT for the last 2 years, IMO. Maybe Jones wasn't so happy sharing the ball? I don't really get it.

i think LT is over the hill. he took too many lumps in san diego. i don't think he's going to do very much in NY. i feel the jets think they found something in greene.

As long as their offensive line stays intact (especially Faneca, Mangold and Ferguson), it doesn't really matter what RB plays with them. They'll make an average RB look great. Tomlinson will definately be a threat behind that line.
