Why don't the retarded maids ever put the soap in the shower. I never remember until I'm soaking wet, and then I have to get out of the shower and get the floor soaking wet to get the freaking bar of soap off the sink.
no tip until they change this.

Halfway decent hotels usually have a bar at the sink and another in the shower.

Almost every hotel I've stayed in in the last few years, including Embassy Suites, Motel 6, Hilton, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn.Originally Posted by lordofgun

Now you tell me. Kinda like how I have to pay taxes for four years before any health care benefits kick in.
Maybe it's a Wisconsin thing. I'm in a Courtyard by Marriott.Originally Posted by Mr. Miyagi

I simply don't buy it, Miyagi.Originally Posted by Mr. Miyagi

It's in there now, and the floor is soaked. I had the same problem at an embassy suites last week.
The only hotel I can remember recently where there was soap in the shower was actually an aloft (sheraton) where they had a body wash dispenser in the shower. That was nice and it smelled good.
The plan is you slip on the wet floor and after you hit your huge melon and get knocked out the maid steals your stuff and touches you in inappropriate ways.
I said you need to strive to better than everyone else. I didn't say you needed to be better than everyone else. But you gotta try. That's what character is. It's in the try.

They usually put it by the tub on top of the floor towel.
I always switch that bath soap with the facial soap. I want the facial soap in the shower so I can wash my face, as I already have my own shower gel. The bath soap I use to wash my hands at the sink.
Now why can't they switch them out for me is my question.
I agree, it's ridiculous.

I agree to agree.
I just bring my own soap. Problem solved.
You can avoid this problem if, when you unpack and put out your toiletries, you unwrap the soap and put it where you want it. The very first thing I do when I check into my hotel room is unpack all my stuff and arrange the bathroom the way it should be arranged. :)
But for the grace of God go I
I must've been born a lucky guy
Heaven only knows how I've been blessed
With the gift of you love
And I look around and all I see
Is your happiness embracing me
Oh Lord I'd be lost
But for the grace of God
1 I always bring my own and 2 I honestly can't remember a hotel I have been to that doesn't have shampoo, conditioner, soap in massive amounts.
I have many complaints about recent stays at hotels.
Batteries in remotes are almost dead.
The shower heads are all very weak.
When you do place the soap, usually a small bottle of bath gel, in the shower, they never replace it in the AM.
WTF is with the two cup coffee maker? And the coffee maker in my room right now doesn't even have a pot.
The iron in the hotel I stayed in last week didn't even steam properly, just dribbled out the water.
They seem to take our business for granted and don't do much to enhance the visit.
First thing I always do is head for the bar.Originally Posted by Valerie
