    Preseason Comments:

8/11/2010- Mark Ingram is a bruising back with the ability to make defenders bounce off him. He is difficult to tackle and doesn't shy away from contact. He doesnt have great size or elite speed, but his toughness and tackle breaking ability make up for it. He's already got the spotlight. If he has another good year and declares, he could be a 1st round pick.

    Comments:

    9/28/2010- vs. Arkansas

    1st Qtr:

13:55- Dropped in the backfield but shows he has plenty of wiggle and doesnt try to force things.
7:28- Quick to hit the hole, does a nice job of making small adjustments to get extra yards. Stout RB who looks to be able to take a pounding.
6:26- Blows through the hole like a lightning bolt, finds his lane and adjusts well on the run. Runs compact and with a forward lean. Bowling ball who will be tough to take down. His quickness is above average. Nice TD run.

    2nd Qtr:

11:27- Fantastic vision finding the hole fats and moving through it quickly. Shows how difficult he is to tackle.

    3rd Qtr:
3:11- Ingram is great between the tackles and really looks to be the every down back.
1:57- Just nasty ability to get the tough yards.

Mark Ingram is a workhorse runner with great quickness and very good vision, he adjusts quickly to follow holes and will get plenty of extra yards. He's difficult to tackle and can hit you for big yards if he gets in the open field. He's not a speedster, he's a quick bowling ball.
