Joseph Barskdale, OT, Louisiana State University

    Joseph Barksdale, OT, LSU
    Height: 6-5. Weight: 315.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.90.
    Projected Round (2011):

    11/27/2010- vs. Ark

    1st Qtr:

12:33- Fires out to make his block. Does not have elite quickness
11:53- Sets a good base and extends his arms
11:46- Nice kick slide, sets deep enough
2:16- Feet don't appear to be quick enough to play LT, probably needs to go to RT
1:37- Doesn't set deep enough and the DE beats him around the edge

    2nd Qtr:
13:13- Another spot where the defender got the edge
11:52- Uses solid leverage in his blocks
    10:30- False start penalty
10:15- Good job sustaining the block
    9:53- Push in back penalty
8:34- Gave the defender the edge, almost gave up a sack
8:15- Gave up the edge again
5:53- Pretty much blown right around on this play
0:55- Let's his man get by him and knock down the QB
0:19- Has been giving up the edge on most plays, gives up the sack

Joseph Barksdale had a very bad half in this game. He is able to get a push in the run game and has quick enough feet to play RT, but may need to move inside. He consistently was beat at the edge. He doesn't set up deep enough. I think he may be a mid to late round pick.
