    What's interesting is your inability to understand that we like both names. And that the something else option is pointless, because we dont really want anything else.

      i think it's because the mother's name is "Julie"

      but i could be wrong.

          Of course they don't faze you -- you're an adult. You have to put yourself in the kid's shoes. (That's how kids end up with names they don't like BTW.) You're right kids will always find things to tease each other about -- my point is you don't serve them up a fastball down the middle. Who needs the extra hassle?

          You should make him proud of who he is regardless. All I'm saying is that it's the equivalent of "twinkletoes." Now if he's artistic, he may not care.

          There are so many great boys' names. Pick one!

                            He was definitely a Beatles fan, but that song is a special connection for her.
                            If any of you have lost a parent at a young age I am sure you can relate.
