Ryan Bartholomew, C, Syracuse

Ryan Bartholomew, Syracuse
Height: 6-2. Weight: 298.
Projected 40 Time:.
Projected Round (2011):
Preseason Comments:
7/12/2010- Has started at both Guard and Center. He very athletric and strong for the position. According to Marrone, "He is such a gifted athlete... He's a legit sub-5.0 flat guy. [Kevin] Mawae was an [eight]-time Pro Bowler. [Jeff] Faine was the highest-paid center in the NFL. He can run like Mawae, who can really run. [Bartholomew] has all the numbers. The other big number that he will have is the Wonderlic score. He's extremely intelligent." He has reportedly benched 225, 30 times, ran a 4.93 40, and jumped 31 inches. He has also benched 525. He also hand cleans 402. Ryan brings a tough attitude, provides solid leadership, and has a great work ethic.
11/27/2010- vs. BC
3rd Qtr:
11:22- Decent blocking in the middle
9:33- Decent quickness to get to the 2nd level
4:01- Gets good push in the run game
3:46- Good job using his hands but will disengage too early at times
2:51- Nasty block to make the hole
Bartholomew is a solid run blocker and holds up well against the pass. He looks like a decent late round prospect.
