    Preseason Comments:

7/25/2010- Bryant is physically imposing. He bench-presses 475 pounds, squats 600 pounds and power cleans 385 pounds. He has a 34-inch vertical jump as well. Strength coach Larry Lilja says: "He's one of our best workers and a true champion in the weight room." Source: http://espn.go.com/blog/ncfnation. With his sub-300 pound weight, he most likely would play as a 3-4 DE or a 4-3 DT. He suffered a knee injury in 08. What Bryant needs to do is step up into a role as a leader on defense. He needs to make plays consistently, and translate the athleticism into production. If he is successful, he could rise on draft boards.
