Preseason Comments:
7/25/2010- Size isn't on Jacquizz's side, but most everything else is. Hes one of the shiftiest running backs in the nature, maybe even more-so than Noel Devine. He has decent but not great speed at between high 4.4's and low 4.5's. Hes a decent receiver as well. He may never be a full time running back, but with the way he carries the load at OSU, he may be able to make a case for that. Its more likely that he will be a 3rd down back like a Maurice Jones-Drew. If he can continue with his great success, which he should, and try to show scouts he can handle a full time pounding, teams may think about him in the middle rounds... maybe even an early round.
Comments:
9/10/2010- vs. TCU
1st Qtr:
6:40- Has some wiggle and quickness. Decent vision, can move around for extra yards.
5:22- Looks like he can drill it up in the hole and take a big hit.
2nd Qtr:
13:19- Shows some ability to block down field. Goes up against a LB and moves him back while the QB runs up the middle.
Quizz is a nifty back who can move around, take a hit, and get you yards. However, for a guy his size, he doesn't have the speed you would like nor the moves.
