Comments:
9/13/2010- vs. Fla St.
1st Qtr:
8:48- Looked like a zone coverage but let the man in front him make the catch. Needs to get up into that play. Tackled a bit tentative as well.
7:24- Comes up and drills the TE on the reception. But doesnt wrap as nice as you would like.
3rd Qtr:
4:29- Great job reading the run, closing on the hole and tackling.
Quinton Carter didn't do much to distinguish himself in this game. He made a play here or there but seemed to be out of position on most plays. He played a bit tentative.
10/23/2010- vs. Mizzou
1st Qtr:
12:21- Didn't wrap on the tackle.
5:56- Flies up and drills the runner.
2nd Qtr:
12:14- Isn't shying away from contact.
9:40- Drills the runner.
3rd Qtr:
9:47- Gets personal foul with helmet to helmet hit.
4th Qtr:
7:51- Gets dragged for 10+ yards. Has to tackle and take the guy down.
Carter played with more tenacity in this game and made so me heavy hits. He appeared to be much more instinctual and diagnosed the plays much more quickly.
