    Ryan Broyles, WR, Oklahoma

    Ryan Broyles*, WR/PR, Oklahoma
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 175.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.41.
    Projected Round (2011):

    Career Stats:

    2008 46 687 14.9 77 6 3 11 3.7 8 0 0 0

    Preseason Comments:

7/30/2010- Broyles can return kicks, punt, and isnt a bad WR either. Ryan will be the main target for the Sooners this year, and it will be interesting to see what he does with that responsibility. Ryan is more than happy to go across the middle and has good strength for his size. He is reportedly able to bench 300+ pounds. Broyles could be a nice slot receiver in the NFL.

    Comments:

    9/13/2010- vs. Fla St.

    1st Qtr:

14:54- Good hands in the flat
13:44- A bit of a long strider, not very fast on this play.
13:39- Finds the opening over the middle. Makes the catch.
1:44- Great route running, juking his man out of the play. Has nice hands. For his size doesn't seem as quick as you would think.

    2nd Qtr:
4:32- With a blocker in front of him in the flat, he cant out run or wiggle to get much of anything.
4:24- A similar play to the right where he cant get extra yards with his feet.
3:58- Can take the hits and make the tough grab. More physical than speedy.

    3rd Qtr:

11:03- Shows some quickness on this screen pass. But he isn't very quick.

Ryan Broyles looks like a slot receiver to me. I don't think he has great speed and only average quickness. But he does have soft hands and can make the tough grab. He also can take the hits.

    10/23/2010- vs. Mizzou

    1st Qtr:

13:32- Has good hands and some wiggle.

    2nd Qtr:
13:09- Fantastic focus and concentration grabbing the bobbled ball and shaking a few tackles for a big gain.
7:14- Huge 31 yard gain on 3rd down. He gets open and makes the catch.

    3rd Qtr:
5:20- Just seems to get open and make the catch.

Ryan Broyles is a quality receiver who makes all the catches and has some play-making ability. He doesnt appear to be a speedster or that physical but he is very productive and can be counted on to do his job.
