    Preseason Comments:

8/25/2010- Marcus Gilchrist is known for a great work ethic. He is a bit stiff in his hips, and isn't as explosive as you would like. Plays FS as well. Is a great tackler as witnessed by his 96 total tackles in 09 which is amazing. Needs to improve his ball skills to be better against the pass.

    Comments:

    9/18/2010- vs. Auburn

    2nd Qtr:
13:03- Primary return man. Has some wiggle as a returner but isnt the home run threat.
6:54- Gets burned but makes the tackle.
0:38- Gets a pass interference call but looks like it was solid coverage.

    3rd Qtr:
6:13- A bit tentative to get up into the run play and blow it up.

Gilchrist was fairly quite in this game. He made a few tackles and didnt give up any big passes but he really was a non-factor. He also showed only a marginal ability as a return man.
