All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

A better NHL Network show than the S11 offerred....
Re: A better NHL Network show than the S11 offerred....
For those of us that were 7 at the time, what happened?
“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.
Hasek in net for the Sabres for basically the start of his career when Fuhr got hurt at the end of the Boston series.
Lafontaine near the end of his Sabres career hurt his knee
Hawerchuk older but still pretty good.
Mogilny at the height of his career.
several what ifs:
What if Hasek played the Montreal series instead of a banged up Fuhr.
For that matter, what if we never traded Andreychuk for Fuhr and had Hasek play, would we have even made the playoffs?
What if LaFontaine and Mogilny didn't get hurt and played in the Montreal series.
That "could have been" our best chance at a Cup. We had a juggernaut offense that year between LaFontaine and Mogilny. Hawerchuk almost had 100 points (96) as the third highest scorer on the team. We lost to Montreal in four straight with three of them going to overtime and Montreal went on to win the Cup that year.
Sorry if that is a Buffalo mentality and that Boston series was truly stunning for the Sabres. I was even at the "May day" game. But I lament what could have been for that team. The loss of LaFontaine hurt the worst.
