    Chris Hairston, OT, Clemson

    Chris Hairston, OT, Clemson
    Height: 6-7. Weight: 325.
    Projected 40 Time: 5.14.
    Projected Round (2011):

    11/21/2010- vs. Miami (replay)

    1st Qtr:
13:08- Starts at LT but is clearly a RT. Has some extra bulk but is massive.
13:00- Shows you he has decent feet sliding laterally with quickness to create the wall on #34.
12:20- Works some kick slide... shows he can at least do it.

    11/27/2010- vs. So Car

    1st Qtr:

    4:47- Shows decent quickness
4:30- Massive bulk. He's not fat, just big.
2:52- A bit slow in the kick slide and was beaten around the edge. Needs to move to RT

    2nd Qtr:
7:26- Not the best option at the 2nd level. Lumbers a bit
6:30- Good job blocking on a run to his side. Has some nastiness
6:15- Throws Mathews beyond the play
5:11- Absorbs the blitz but needs to sustain the block
2:36- Good job walling off defender
2:03- Good leverage on this play

    3rd Qtr:
11:26- Great job sustaining run block to spring the RB
9:32- Couldn't adjust back in when the DE went inside. May struggle with the quick LE's... needs to play RT
0:06- Good job adjusting to spin move

    4th Qtr:

13:03- Another good job holding the block on spin moves
12:18- Locked on and wouldn't let his man off. Moves well to keep his shoulders square
10:45- Has good strength and can push his man around
10:23- Great job pushing the DE wide
10:04- At times, will give up on an inside swim and let the man go. I think he thinks the RB is going to pick him up

Chris Hairston is intriguing because of his massive size and decent mobility for a man this big. He can kick slide fairly well and does a good job sustaining blocks. He can be susceptible to getting beat to the inside at times, but also does well against the spin move. Chris can get very good push with good strength and solid leverage.
