Report: Terry Pegula Signs Letter of Intent to Buy Sabres
Joe Buscaglia Reporting
JoeB@WGR550.com
The tenure of Tom Golisano as owner of the Buffalo Sabres could be coming to a close.
Ken Campbell of The Hockey News is reporting that billionaire Terry Pegula has signed a letter of intent to purchase the Sabres from Golisano for $150 million dollars.
WGR is also running an interview with the Pegula - his other favorite sport is football. Already speculating on Bills ownership. LOL.
Pegula cannot be buying this team in order to resell and make more profit. How much higher can they go than $150 mil? I think this could be a very good thing. He gets a sound investment that makes money and he loves hockey enough to want to make the team a winner.
I'm ecstatic right now. WOW!
I only will be if Larry Quinn goes away again!Originally Posted by RockStar36

if quinn goes i am happy he is the real problem here...bring in an owner serious about winning and changing a few things
XTRA CRISPY XTRA SAUCEY
Ken Campbell is on the air right now and he says that this sale could go VERY quickly. The NHL has lots of little management/ownership fires that it has to deal with it and would love nothing more than to make this move quickly and simply.
Quinn has heart problems...he might be looking to get out completely.Originally Posted by Dr. Lecter

Yes, a reporter out of Quebec is tweeting that.Originally Posted by Al the Bills Fan

LOI has not been signed and they are not being sold for $150M.
I believe the opposite of anything Quinn says
