They might have the best record, but I don't believe they will win it all with that defense.
That's up for debate. We still have 3 more games and the playoffs. They may be peaking too early.

Well, considering they were 9-3 prior to the game, I would consider them a very good team. Good teams put up records of 9-3. Are they an elite team like New England? No. But they compare very well with the Jets.
The Pats have a good shot at reaching the Superbowl. They have the inside track at the AFC's best record because they have a game lead and the tie-breaker. That means they will probably be resting guys the last week of the season and have a bye week to get healthy. They will be playing at home, where they have been very dominant, for the 2 games leading up to the Super Bowl.
They have set themselves well for a nice playoff run, and Brady is playing out of this world. The defense has been improving, and they are protecting the football (best turnover ratio in the NFL). None of that guarantees anything, but they have put themselves in better position than anyone else in the AFC.
The exciting thing about this Pats run is they are so young. They have the 3rd youngest team in the NFL. On top of that, if the season ended today they would have the #15, #32, #33, #64, #76 and #96 draft picks. That means they can keep adding good young players to the team and extend their run a few more years.
It is amazing how well that team is run.
that defense will kill them in the playoffs, not sure where or when... but they won't go 3 games in the playoffs without playing an offense that can go punch for punch with them... then their defense will be called upon and i don't see it working.
Their secondary is awful... they're winning with smoke and mirrors and a solid (not great) front 7
They've got the best offense... but then so did the Bills once upon a time... suspect defenses don't win many superbowls
