Pretty unusual for this late in the season, isn't it?

I find it hilarious that the winner of the NFC west is likely going to be a sub .500 team and host a 10 or 11 win team in the first round of the playoffs.

NE is the only team to clinch a playoff spot.

yeah... NE clinched... they're 1 win away from the AFCE, and 2 (or a win and a pit loss) from home field...

My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.
MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!
i guess it's good news. it means there are more evenly matched teams. the fact that san diego is on the outside looking in, is good stuff competition wise.
it'd be crazy if the nfc west team gets hot and totally rolls to the superbowl. an impossibility, but in a season where thebills are out, i root for the absurd. i need a cinderella team to make me really get interested in the playoffs or root for whoever knocks off the pats.
Probably nobody will rest starters this year in week 17.
I could have scheduled my fantasy league for another week!
Maybe, but it just amplifies how mediocre the league has become. The talent just isn't quite what it use to be. A talent pool like the one that had Kelly, Marino, Elway, Montana, Bruce Smith, Lawrence Taylor, Reggie White, etc.. will probably never be seen again.Originally Posted by YardRat
This has been a great year and will be an entertaining playoff. Lots of teams have a chance to represent their conference in the Super Bowl. This week alone will be really good. I had the hardest time picking games... would be a great week to have Red Zone. Cheers to the greatest sports league on the planet.
