No surprise. It was funny to hear TO rip the Bungles apart from top to bottom. Yet he had nothing but good things to say about the Bills, even though he had the same right/chance to go off on them like he did the Bungles.

Slightly a shocker, IMO...I really expected Lewis to be gone.

Bengals are cheaper than any other team. Horrible FO. Keeping Lewis would drive me from being a Bengals fan.

I think they keep Carson and jettison TOcho.

          The Bengals owner is cheap.

Extending Lewis was probably cheaper than bringing in someone new.

According to Mike Brown, very few changes need to be made this offseason to a team that lost 10 games in a row. That tells you all you need to know about a franchise whose stated goal is to be "competitive".

BTW, Carson Palmer was never going anywhere regardless of who would have been the coach. He makes too much money. He's also damaged goods and on the downside of his career.

The lesson in all this: as Bills fans, we could have it much worse.

What a joke of an organization the Bengals are. He's been there about what 8 years now or something like that and they have had about 2 or 3 winning seasons and if I'm correct I don't believe they even had back to back winning seasons.

They have some talent on the team but can't win. That is a sign of bad coaching especially after years of it. They started off good last year and faded at the end but still won their division. They go out this year and add Owens along with other decent players and they win four games with a 10 game losing streak. Only in Cincy would the coach still be around after all these years.

                      I think it's unlikley:

Marvin Lewis is returning next season as the Cincinnati Bengals' coach and he made it clear Wednesday in an ESPN Radio interview that Carson Palmer will be his starting quarterback in 2011.
