The father of Montreal Canadiens goaltender Jose Theodore was among 16 people arrested yesterday in connection with alleged loansharking, broadcast reports said. Although police would not confirm Ted Nicolas Theodore was among those arrested, several news outlets reported it. They included Global TV, French-language all-news channels RDI and LCN, and TSN's Web site.
