1/16/2011- vs. Illinois (replay)
2nd Qtr: 14:52- Blows back the double team to pressure the QB
13:52- Decent quickness for a guy this big
9:42- Not great at shedding blocks and appears to be content to just eat up blockers at times
7:41- Double teamed pretty much the whole game so far
7:12- Just seemed to give up on this play
5:44- Can blow his man back with his size when he wants to
Phil Taylor, who transferred from Penn State, is an absolute mammoth of a man who has good feet for his size. The problem with him seems to be intensity. He can seem to just take plays off. He has ideal NT size in a 3-4 but without a better motor, he may get drafted late. He will need to show teams he has the desire to play and can be trusted with the middle of their defensive line. Has reportedly benched 455 and squatted 655.
