I saw that they were interested, don't know if they're the frontrunners or not. Sanders, I believe, can sign with a team before March 4th or something like that.

I would take a chance for the right price. If healthy, he would make a great partner at SS with Byrd at FS.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Byrd isn't good? A great rookie season, followed by almost double the tackles, 4 more turnovers and a sack. I still call it a sophomore slump but c'mon...
The kid is someone who #1 teams throw away from now, hence the fewer interceptions (along with the porous run defense and other teams just running the ball the entire time), and #2 is going to be a staple for a while on this defense.
Sanders/Byrd is a sexy combination at safety. Scott/Wilson is nice at backup. Corto is... whatever. And Whitner is a little *****.

I never stated anything about any of our safeties...just that your comment of Wilson being the best isn't true and if it was, then that is not good. For some crazy ass reason, people have fooled themselves into thinking that Wilson is a good safety that could actually start in this league...there is nothing further from the truth.
