All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Looking at the list, there are tons of people I DON'T see on there:
Al Smith
Gary Bromley
Bob Sauve
Jacque Cloutier
Clint Malarchuk
Tom Barrasso
Dave Dryden
Tom Draper
John Blue
Grant Fuhr
Bob Essensa
Domenick Hasek
and these are just goalies
looks like Desjardins, Edwards and Puppa are the only ones. I am somewhat joking about some of those guys as they only were here for a very short time (oh, I forgot Phil Myre who I think played for the Atlanta Flames), but a couple of them were big names. Maybe Barrasso and Malarchuk are goalie coaches and can't come, but Bob Sauve was a real good goalie. I used to really like Bromley too. Surprised Hasek won't be here.

You are correct on Barrasso and Malarchuk. Al Smith walked out on the team after a national anthem when Don Edwards got his first start - he's never coming back. Hasek is still playing in the KHL.
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.

What about the others? I thought Sauve was good as a pairing with Edwards. He shut Montreal out twice in Montreal I think back in the seventies in the playoffs.
