All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Agreed. I always cringe a little when a hear someone say a goalie has "stolen" a game. Last I checked, goalies are part of the team too. It's like saying a quarterback or a pitcher steals games.
Like with quarterbacks, if you don't have a good goalie, it sure makes it more difficult to win. More so than any other position on a team.
I have often wondered when the goalie "was no longer part of the team". Buffalo put dollars in the goalie position, Philly didn't. The goalie position has come back and bit Philly. Does Philly deserve it?

Very stupid thing to say because the same could be said for Philly. They dont deserve to advance because they will not get too far with pathetic goaltending. Whoever wins the series deserves it because they were the better TEAM in the series. Maybe he should say the winner of the series better step up because they will not get passed the next round if they continue to play at the current level.
“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.
Carter is out and Pronger is clearly not playing at the level he is capable of. Injuries are not a factor.
Injuries are a factor. Just because they were factors (to varying degrees) for both teams doesn't mean they weren't a factor. Pominville goes down and suddenly we lose a lead, hm...
I'm as unhappy about the losses as anyone, but for as bad as people make this team out to be, the Flyers should have taken care of business long ago. Melrose is an idiot to say "the puck finally bounced Philly's way." It's been bouncing their way all series with the lack of suspensions for their goons injuring our guys.

Sabres didn't deserve to win - they should have closed it out Sunday - at HSBC. To give up a 2 goal lead TWICE at home is disgusting. And then $6 million dollar Miller giving up a soft goal in overtime to cinch the comeback for Philly was the icing on the cake.
