Richards is the true center. He fills in that piece.
And they are not lacking scoring. They were in the top 10 of the NHL last year.

Where are the typical Billszone posts like, I saw Richards at the buffalo airport and my cousin the limo driver tok him to Hsbc? This free agency feels weird.
If Connolly is the clear #2 available center, it says a lot about how lousy this free agent class is.
Because the NHL isn't like that. They said Brad Richards is with his agent in Mississauga, ON.

they've been too busy calling the local radio station saying they're Richard's cousins neighbor, and he's defniately going to the NYR
Make the biggest offer and then compare NY with us head to head... I like how we look in that comparison:
Solid coaching, great goalie, owner who is willing to spend, solid defense (with Regher and Ehrhoff) great young guys, great prospects...
Other than Torterella, why would Richards pick NYR?
