Need to pick up a TE this week with Gronk on BYE.

    Some options:
    Kevin Boss OAK
    Jeremy Shockey CAL
    Kellen Winslow TB
    Any other ideas?

Thurm - Is Terrell Pryor a good preemptive pickup in a deep QB-starved league? How effective would you say he will be, when he inevitably gets the start over Kyle Boller?

Are Obomanu and Jenkins (MIN) solid bye week replacements?
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Wow I would have to be completely screwed at QB to think about Boller or Pryor.

If you are in that bad of shape stash Pryor but wow it must be a deep deep league.

If you want to be really proactive I hear that Raiders are trying to get Carson Palmer........

I've thought of that. I don't think Mike Brown is gonna budge.

They may also trade for Orton, or bring back Trent Edwards. But all of those options suck.

Yes, very deep QB heavy league. The top 10 fantasy point scorers are all QBs. 15 teams, 17 roster spots.

Let's just say, Christian Ponder and Gabbert were DRAFTED.

Sure but IMO don't suck any worse than Boller or Pryor.

    Is Mike Tolbert outright droppable?

    Donald Brown or Delone Carter?

    ABSOLUTELY NOT.

I like Tolbert much more than either of those two colts but this is a great question!!!

Even if Mathews is getting more touches, Tolbert will still sneak TDs and in all honesty Matthews is as fragile as they come!

    Another question:

Witten vs STL or Pettigrew vs ATL?

    Great problem to have.

Both great options but I will just say Witten. He is probably the most consistent TE in the game over the last 5 years.

It's a 12 team league with experienced players... not Brazil.

    Not much out there.

    I am playing

    Ben
    Turner, Battle
Walter, White, 2 spots open for either Floyd, Doucet or Jenkins
    Greg Olsen
