The people who want to post positive things have the Bills forum to post what they want when they want too.
People like me have to deal with the positive drivel like "we're going to win 8 games" and "Easley is better than Evans." The people who only want to see the positive have to deal with the reality from people like me. That's just how it is.
I don't know why some of you feel the need to isolate yourself from the reality.
Well, it's a stupid prerogative, and I'm tired of dealing with stupidity. I may not be able to change it, but I can and will call people out on it.

read the thread- I'm not sure what Justa's intent was in starting it, but there are more than a couple truly positive responses mixed in with the sarcasm.
It's a message board for people who want to post. The forums generally reflect the posts people want to make. Whether you like it or not, there are positives about this team, and some people enjoy talking about them. If you don't like it, then don't post here, it's pretty simple.

There is no need for the Kardashians to have a TV show, there is no need for pet psychologists, there is no need for half the crap they sell at the "As seen on TV" store at my local mall. But there is an audience out there that wants it- so we will provide it.
As far as I'm concerned- there is a Billszone business opportunity here. 350 plus (and growing) facebook members say there is a potential "Billszone Need" to give them what they want.
Billszone does not worry about what one guy thinks- only if it is disruptive to our goals.
Yes, those two slightly positive posts are just absolutely overwhelming the boards.

It's that people who only see the positives to the point where they want their own forum with no "negative" comments are not grounded in reality.
I come here to have a realistic discussion about the team. If people insist on only discussing the positives, then that can't happen. And if that's how this board is going to be, then maybe I should find someplace else to post.

Ok, that's an extreme example. Here's a more realistic one: if this board had 350 members who were Dolphins fans, would you give them a Dolphins forum?

Maybe the reason they want this forum is to prevent generally positive threads from being 5-page arguments over petty, snarky, and generally unnecessary comments that some people just have to make because they just HAVE to have their way. Maybe sometimes people see reality a little differently than you do. Not every post talking about the Bills in a positive light is lacking reality.
It's again come down to an issue of...what the heck is your problem? For someone who, from what I remember, is a fan of letting people do what they want as long as it's not harming you, you absolutely love to piss all over anything you deem as "stupid." From what I can see, the only effect it has on the normal Bills Zone board is that some posters who join for the Bills Mafia may end up posting there too. Which simply means you have a lot more people to introduce "reality" (your version, that is) to.
It has no effect on you unless you decide to post here, which you obviously feel the need to (for some reason). I'm sure there's several forums on Bills Zone that a number of other people find stupid. Doesn't mean they go there and start trying to crap all over things other people want to discuss.
Reality is what it is. If someone sees it differently than me, then one or both of us are wrong. And when I'm right, I will defend my comments. I know that I am right when I say you can't realistically discuss this team without the negative coming up, and I am defending my comments. If you consider that to be petty, snarky, whatever, I really don't care. Take your own advice and don't come here.
And again, why am I wrong for wanting people to be realistic, but the people who only want to discuss the positives are not? It doesn't affect them if I post realistically in the main forum, so your logic works in both directions.

Why wouldn't I come here? I'm not the one who got into an argument about whether this forum should have been created or not. Reality is what it is...but the conclusions people draw from reality are not black and white. Preseason games are a great example of that.
Of course it doesn't affect them if you post realistically in the main forum. That's why they don't care if you do that. And I'm really, really struggling to figure out why on earth you care SO MUCH about this forum. It obviously doesn't concern you.
