Here’s a position by position breakdown of Buffalo’s final 53, and how many Chan Gailey’s staff kept at each position last season to start the year.
QB (3) – Thigpen, Fitzpatrick, Smith — 2010 (3)
RB (4) – Jackson, Spiller, J. White, McIntyre — 2010 (4)
WR (6) – Parrish, St. Johnson, Jones, Easley, R. Martin, D. Nelson — 2010 (5)
TE (3) – D. Martin, Chandler, Pianalto — 2010 (2) w/1 suspended
OL (8) – Urbik, Levitre, Wood, C. Brown, Hairston, Rinehart, Bell, Pears — 2010 (9)
DL (7) – Heard, Sp. Johnson, Carrington, K. Williams, Troup, Edwards, Dareus — 2010 (7)

my surprises:

Chris White and eddins(thought PS) making the team and Coleman being cut.

Ruvell over Namaan and/or AIken

Hangartner getting cut (must be pure money move.....)

Well, it's the final roster until someone gets cut that's better than what we have. We'll then cut someone else to make room for that person.

yeah those are the shock picks most are discussing right now... Only 8 OL...

Better hope no OL get hurt... also, WHY, why are we keeping 4 TE's? I mean, even 3 for this team is too much...

I think they will cut one of the LB or TEs after surveying the OL and they will add someone for OL depth

Chandler, Martin and Pianalto is only three isn't it?

I think 10 LBs is excessive, I'd definitely part ways with one and hope to land an O-lineman. If healthy Jamaal Jackson be a nice C but fear he's not so maybe his 2010 replacement Mike McGlynn be a guy pursuing for a backup spot.

Colin Brown is the unknown. Wrotto, Howard, and Hang are bad. That has to be it.

Chris White, I think, is going to be our ST "guy." Corto is gone, and, while not admittedly seeing in myself, i heard White was decent.

Hopefully Coleman makes it to the PS. I think he has some serious upside.

I don't know why Ruvell Martin made the team, but he has played in the league, so I am not completely shocked he made it over the other guys. I think that Roosevelt will make it to the PS, so while it's a set back, it's not the end.

Hang is the real shock of the whole thing to me. i didn't expect Corto, but I am fine with it. I would have cut him too.

The interesting thing is gong to be if they sign anybody. Brown will probably be the first out the door.

Could somebody post a list of Bills players who were cut instead of who made the team? I hate having to figure out who's not on final roster list.

Of course he got cut. He showed very little during the pre-season. They may add him to the PS.
