How many fans read forums/twitter.... ? Out of those few, how many of them are actually going to the game? For this to work, it has to be promoted on ALL RADIO shows, canada, buffalo and rochester, even music stations, and also in newspapers.

I'll bet damn near 80-90% of the people going to the game will have heard about it from people who DO frequent Twitter, message boards, etc.

Say 5 people are going to the game together. I'll bet at least 2 of them have seen it on Twitter, heard it on the radio, etc. They'll in turn tell the other 3 people in their group.

Word of mouth. You don't actually need to see or hear it directly from the sources.

It's a pretty awesome sight when PSU does it with 100K+ fans. I think the Ralph could have a similar effect, it gets really rocking there.
