Just heard it on the radio and have talked about it with my friends a couple times this past week. Do you think Miller wants to be here or is unhappy here and would rather play elsewhere.

Please delete this thread.
I think it's a valid question. I think he wants to play here but he slowly being coming disgruntled and he needs to be kept gruntled.
Why because I am curious if other people think that Miller is unhappy here. If this thread bothers you you don't have to read it. Or someone can delete it it does't matter. Me and my friends at work were talking about it. Just wanted to see what others think.

Sorry, I think it's a stupid question - just my opinion. Ofcourse he wants to play here.
The Miller playing poorly thing is so overblown. Take out the Flyers debacle and he'd be top 10 in sv%... and through his first 5 starts his numbers were almost identical to Enroth's right now (who's at about 5 full games played). Even as it is he's at a .922 sv%
People are using the tiniest sample sizes to make the guy look bad... I'll take his career's body of work over what our backup has done in a few games.
But of course, when the starter has a bad game or two... the backup is always the most popular guy in town (unless your backup is Lalime)
There's a ton of other teams who would kill to have the "problem" we do right now.

I don't think anyone wants to kick Miller to the curb over a couple of bad games, except for the usual suspects who never liked him in the first place.Originally Posted by MitchMurrayDowntown
The question is whether Miller wants to be here, and based on some of Miller's comments, it's a valid question. Buffalo can be tough on athletes because it's a small city that's obsessed with sports. He can't hide away in a large city that doesn't really care about hockey like players in say Dallas or Washington or LA or Atlanta... well, Dallas or Washington or LA anyway. I'm not saying Miller's not committed to the team but he does seem to have the kind of personality where less attention would help him.
Also, having two good goalies is nice but it's a luxury few teams can afford. This is eventually becoming Miller/Biron all over again whether we like it or not.

i'm happy to be in this position. if miller can't deal with a push from the #2, then he really isn't the goalie he claims to be. I'm a miller supporter, but the sabres are still scoring for him. the defense looks a lot better. and he's still letting in some weak goals. Enroth hasn't yet.
He will and he'll have to bounce back. if miller really think the only answer is to leave, then he should. every goalie will go through this. you have to deal with it and get better. he's being pushed by a hungry goalie. an elite goalie should step up and claim his territory.
i think some of it might be Miller intentionally villifying himself to the fans to keep the heat off the Blueliners, who have played like crap most of the year. wouldnt be the first time he has pulled attention to himself to keep it off teammates
