Sabres Need To Shake Up This Roster Badly Before The Trade Deadline

I was in the stands last night. Zero effort and too many passes with wide open shots. Bring back the Rochester guys and even more.
I would package Sekera & Stafford in a trade for a box of nails. They aren't doing anything but wasting roster spots. Leino looks lost.

This team needs a fresh set of eyes ( not named Darcy ) who will put a more physical team on the ice. I hope Ted Black & Pegula can see how soft this currect lineup is.

The good news is the youth in Rochester & in juniors is a physical bunch. I'm all for a youth movement because the majority of this current roster is just out there floating and not paying the price. Tin men with no heart.

If Vanek and Jason Pom slump, this team becomes invisible.

they're close to the point where they have to make some tough decisions on the roster, simply because of the teams health... sounds like Ennis will be beck in the line up this weekend, Kaletta was a late scratch last night (good thing the amerks are only 1.5 hrs away) Now that Hecht is back, and actually playing better than ever, some guys are going to have to be benched that have been getting significant ice time: ellis, adam, kassian

TBH im tired of seeing leino get pushed/rubbed off the puck on the wall or when he tries to turn and stick handle. Someone needs to tell him this isnt philly.

the loss last nite was a case of one lucky ass goalie, i swear we hit like 9 or 10 posts in the 3rd period alone, then they get that GWG which was a trickler tbh, but the Dman pulled off the guy in front to double team the guy on the end boards and got burned.

Starting with the coach...

he should have been replaced years ago. Good coaches are replaced monthly in the NHL. Teams have won the Stanley Cup with a new coach being put in with 8 games left on the regular season schedule. Continuity in hockey is winning a playoff series but the Sabres don't get that.

One thing that bothers me and I could be completly wrong is that the people we call up from roch play harder then our players. I feel like they do that because they have something to play for and gain by playing hard. Where as some of our players seem like they play at 1/2 throttle sometimes. So yeah I think we should make the RIGHT move to shake things up I don't know what the right move is for this team though. Maybe a good center?
