Partial Collapse of Tower Attached to Grain Elevator in Buffalo River
BUFFALO, NY-- Buffalo Firefighters and city officials are on the scene of a
partial collapse of one of the towers attached to a grain elevator into the Buffalo River.
There have been no reports of any injuries at this time.
Buffalo Police spokesperson Michael DeGeorge says a contractor was doing a
partial demolition at the site at the time.

can we tear them down now? all of them should be ripped down they are an eyesore. They should have been torn down a long time ago but the City of Buffalo and the preservationits don't know how to let go of the past!

Demolitions and environmental clean-ups are expensive. A developer will not foot the bill.
